Board Layout Designer

Design your own board, it's much more than a gimmick, it really does add a new dimension to the game. Try clearing the board of all bonus cells and leave just one central start cell. Maybe you just want a quick game, then try the 'Mini game' from one of the pre-designed layouts. The possibilities are endless !

Board Designer Symmetry Settings
Horizontal Symmetry (ctrl-H)
Changes are mirrored about the horizontal axis. Up to 2 cells are revised by an edit.
Vertical Symmetry (ctrl-V)
Changes are mirrored about the vertical axis. Up to 2 cells are revised by an edit.
Diagonal Symmetry (ctrl-D)
Changes are mirrored about the above diagonal axis. Up to 2 cells are revised by an edit.
Compound Symmetry
In this example, horizontal, vertical and diagonal symmetry are enabled. Up to 8 cells are revised by an edit.

Design Your Own Board
1.
 To start designing your own board :
a.
 Select the notebook and abort any game that is in progress.
b.
 From 'MAIN MENU' select 'SETTINGS'.
c.
 From the 'SETTINGS' menu select 'BOARD LAYOUT'.
d.
 From the 'BOARD LAYOUT' page select the menu item 'START DESIGN'.
(The notebook will return to the table leaving the 'BOARD LAYOUT' page active.)

 The board designer is now active. To alter a cell, simply move the cursor over it and choose one of the following options to change that cell :

Keyboard   
Delete / remove cell
Toggle horizontal symmetry  
Toggle vertical symmetry
Toggle diagonal symmetry
Clear board
Restore original board        
Exit board design mode        

Mouse   
Move The cell under the mouse arrow is editable.
Left Click Select next bonus cell type.
Right Click Select previous bonus cell type.
Wheel Scroll through the bonus cell types.
3.
 When you have finished, exit board design mode by pressing the [Escape] key or click the notebook.
4.
 You are now ready to play a game using your new board but it might be good idea to save your board layout.
